- INSPECT APPARATUS
- Choose the apparatus to be inspected.
SPECIFIED CONDITIONApparatus Step Radio receiver assy A All illuminations B - B: GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM (SEE HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
- A: Go to Next Step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSY - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the radio receiver assy R3 or R7 connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the values in SPECIFIED CONDITION

Standard:
SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester connection Condition Specified condition ILL+ (R7-2) - Body ground (1) Light control switch TAIL 10 to 14 V ILL+ (R3-10) - Body ground (2) Light control switch TAIL 10 to 14 V (1) Separate Type Amplifier (2) Built-in Type Amplifier
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to Next Step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSY - COMBINATION METER)
- Disconnect the radio receiver assy R4 or R7 connector and combination meter C7 connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the values in SPECIFIED CONDITION

Standard:
SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester connection Specified condition ILL- (R7-12) - C7 - 37 (1) Below 1 Ω ILL- (R7-12) - Body ground (1) 10 kΩ or higher ILL- (R4-5) - C7-37 (2) Below 1 Ω ILL- (R4-5) - Body ground (2) 10 kΩ or higher (1) : Separate Type Amplifier (2) : Built-in Type Amplifier
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to Next Step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the combination meter C8 connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value in SPECIFIED CONDITION

Standard:
SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester connection Specified condition C8-7 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
