    HINT:

The A/C amplifier and clock assy use the D.C.C fuse for backup power source. If the D.C.C fuse fails, clock assy backup power source also fails.

    1. NG: CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESS AND COMPONENTS CONNECTED FAILURE FUSE (D.C.C FUSE)
    2. OK: Go to Next Step.
  2. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-B)
    1. Remove the ECU-B fuse from the driver side J/B.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in ECU-B FUSE RESISTANCE  .

      Standard:

      ECU-B FUSE RESISTANCE

      Tester item Condition Specified condition
      ECU-B fuse Always Below 1 Ω
    1. NG: CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESS AND COMPONENTS CONNECTED FAILURE FUSE
    2. OK: Go to Next Step.
  3. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER (B - GND)
    1. Remove the A/C amplifier assy and disconnect the connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER (B - GND) VOLTAGE  .

      Standard:

AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER (B - GND) VOLTAGE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      A11-20 (B) - A11-1 (GND) Always 10 to 14 V
