System Check Procedure By Operation Of Hand-Held Tester
HINT:
First, perform the LEV II SYS CHECK to determine the system's condition.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Enter the following menus: DIAGNOSIS/ENHANCED OBD II/SYSTEM CHECK/LEV II SYS CHECK.
- PREPARATION FOR TEST (LEV II SYSTEM CHECK "STEP 1. INITIALIZE SYSTEM")Β

- Read the value of the FTP sensor (VAPOR PRESS).
Standard:Β
Vapor Pressure should equalize with the atmosphere within 30 seconds.Β
Continue to the next stop when pressure is 760 to 764 mmHg-a (-2 to 2 mmHg-g).Β

When to See a Mechanic
