Section 659 (YAWRATE Sensor): Replacement

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Replacement

NOTE: Do not separate the sensor from the bracket.
  1. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REARΒ  (see REPLACEMENT ) in INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER article.
  2. Apply parking brake:
  3. Set the shift lever in the N position.
  4. Turn the shift lever knob sub-assy counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assy.
  5. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REARΒ
