  1. CHECK THE GPS MARK 
    1. Check that the GPS mark is displayed.

      Standard:The GPS mark is displayed.

    1. NG: GO TO "GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED" IN THE FLOW CHART (SEE  GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Navigation Check" mode (Vehicle Sensors) (see NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS) ).
    2. While driving, compare the "SPEED" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check that these readings are almost the same.

      Standard: The readings are almost the same.

    1. NG: GO TO "SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN THE FLOW CHART (SEE  SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK) 
    1. Move the shift lever to the R or P position.

      Standard: 

      NAVIGATION CHECK MODE

      Shift lever Display
      P OFF
      R ON

      HINT:

      The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

    1. NG: GO TO "REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN THE FLOW CHART (SEE  REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT  ) 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
