2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

  1. NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Navigation Check" mode (Vehicle Sensors) (see NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS) ).
    2. While driving, compare the "SPEED" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost the same.

      Standard: The readings are almost the same.

    1. OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
    2. NG: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART (see  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
