  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    1. Measure voltage between terminals when opening the front door LH only.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Front door LH Tester connection Specified condition
      Close B8-1 (DCTY) - 2A - 8 10 - 14 V
      Open B8-1 (DCTY) - 2A - 8 Below 1 V
    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (FRONT DOOR LH) 
    1. Inspect front door courtesy lamp switch LH continuity.
      1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground when switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 

      OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

    1. NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (FRONT DOOR LH) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY AND FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH LH) 
    1. Disconnect the connector of the multiplex network body computer.
    2. Check the continuity between terminal B6 - 1 (DCTY) and body ground.

      Standard: There is continuity. 

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  4. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    1. Measure voltage between terminals when opening the front door RH only.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Front door RH Tester connection Specified condition
      Close B6-11 (PCTY) - 2A - 8 (GND) 10 - 14 V
      Open B6-11 (PCTY) - 2A - 8 (GND) Below 1 V
    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  5. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (FRONT DOOR RH) 
    1. Inspect front door courtesy lamp switch RH continuity.
      1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground when switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 

      OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

    1. NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (FRONT DOOR RH) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY AND FRONT DOOR COURETESY LAMP SWITH RH) 
    1. Disconnect the connector of the multiplex network body computer.
    2. Check the continuity between terminal B6 - 11 (PCTY) and body ground.

      Standard: There is continuity. 

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  7. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    1. Measure voltage between terminals, when opening the rear door LH only.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Rear door LH Tester connection Specified condition
      Close 20 (RCTY) - 2A-8 (GND) 10 - 14 V
      Open 20 (RCTY) - 2A-8 (GND) Below 1 V
    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  8. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (REAR DOOR LH) 
    1. Inspect rear door courtesy lamp switch LH continuity.
      1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground, when switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 

      OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

    1. NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (REAR DOOR LH) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY AND REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH LH) 
    1. Disconnect the connector of the multiplex network body computer.
    2. Check the continuity between terminal 20 (RCTY) and body ground.

      Standard: Continuity exists. 

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  10. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    1. Measure voltage between terminals when opening the rear door RH only.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Rear door RH Tester connection Specified condition
      Close 20 (RCTY) - 2A-8 (GND) 10 - 14 V
      Open 20 (RCTY) - 2A-8 (GND) Below 1 V
    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  11. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (REAR DOOR RH) 
    1. Inspect rear door courtesy lamp switch RH continuity.
      1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground when switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity 

      OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity 

    1. NG: REPLACE REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY (REAR DOOR RH) 
    2. OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
