  1. INSPECT HEADLAMP RELAY 
    1. Inspect relay continuity.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Condition Tester connection Specified condition
      Constant 1 - 2 Continuity
      Apply B+ between terminal 1 and 2. 3 - 5 Continuity

    1. NG: REPLACE HEADLAMP RELAY 
    2. OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (BETWEEN INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY AND HEADLAMP RELAY) 
  2. INSPECT HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY (HEAD) 
    1. Inspect light control switch continuity.
      1. Check that there is continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in the chart.
      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Switch operation Tester connection Specified condition
      OFF - No continuity
      HEAD 13 - 16 - 14 Continuity

    1. NG: REPLACE HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY 
    2. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY
