Inspection Procedure

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

  1. Check RADIO NO. 1 and RADIO NO. 2 fuse. 
    1. NG : Replace fuse. 
    2. OK : Go To Next Step. 
  2. Check radio and player. 

    PREPARATION:

    Disconnect the radio and player connector.

    CHECK:

    Check the voltage of terminal BU+B.

    OK:

    1. BU+B: 10 - 14 V 

    CHECK:

    Check the voltage of terminal ACC+B when the ignition switch is in ACC or ON position.

    OK:

    1. ACC+B: 10 - 14 V 

    CHECK:

    Check continuity at terminal GND.

    OK:

    1. GND: Continuity 
    1. NG : Replace or repair wire harness or connector. 
      NOTE: When sending it for repair, leave as it is without attempting to take it out by force.
    2. OK : Replace radio and player.
