Inspection Procedure
- Check steering pad switch.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the steering pad switch connector.
CHECK:
Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal ILL+ and EAU of the steering pad switch.
OK:
- Continuity

- NG : Replace steering pad switch.
- OK : Go To Next Step.
- Check wire harness and connector between radio and player and steering pad switch.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the radio and player and steering pad switch connectors.
CHECK:
- Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal SWG of radio and player and terminal EAU of the steering pad switch.
- Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal ILL+ of the steering pad switch and battery.
OK:
- Continuity
- NG : Repair or replace harness and connector.
- OK : Replace radio and player (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
