- Check voltage between terminals IND of transponder key ECU connector and body ground.
PREPARATION:
Turn the ignition switch to ON and diagnosis mode.
CHECK:
Measure voltage between terminals IND of transponder key ECU connector and body ground when security indicator light is coming on and going off.
OK:

- NG : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown problem symptom table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
- OK : Go to Next Step
- Check combination meter (See
CIRCUIT
).
- NG : Replace combination meter.
- OK : Check and replace wire harness and connector (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
