Section 536 (Air Conditioning System): Thermistor: Inspection

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REINFORCEMENT (See  INSTRUMENT PANEL  ). 
  2. REMOVE THERMISTOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector clamp.
    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the thermistor.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Release the 2 claws and remove the sensor from bracket plate.
  3. INSPECT THERMISTOR (See  EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT  ). 
  4. INSTALL THERMISTOR
