Rear Damper Servomotor: Inspection

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FRONT COVER (See  LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR & HINGE  ). 
  2. REMOVE REAR DAMPER SERVOMOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Disconnect the magnetic valve connector clamp.
    3. Remove the 3 screws and servomotor.

  3. INSPECT REAR DAMPER SERVOMOTOR (See  EXHAUST DAMPER SERVOMOTOR CIRCUIT  ). 
  4. INSTALL REAR DAMPER SERVOMOTOR 
  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FRONT COVER
