Heater Radiator: Inspection

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection

  1. REMOVE FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    (See  INSTRUMENT PANEL  ) 

  2. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT (See  REMOVAL  ). 
  3. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and 3 clamps.
    2. Pull out the 2 pipes.

    HINT:

    At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Do not reuse the 2 O-rings.

  4. CHECK HEATER RADIATOR FINS BLOCKAGE 

    If the fins are clogged, clean then with compressed air.

  5. CHECK FITTINGS FOR CRACKS OR SCRATCHES 

    Repair as necessary.

  6. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR 
  7. INSTALL BLOWER UNIT 
  8. INSTALL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY
