Duct Sensor: Inspection

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection

  1. Driver side: REMOVE COMBINATION METER (See  INSTRUMENT PANEL  ). 
  2. Passenger side: REMOVE FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (See  INSTRUMENT PANEL  ). 
  3. REMOVE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 sensors.
  4. Drive side: INSPECT DUCT SENSOR CIRCUIT (See  DTC B1415/15: AIR DUCT SENSOR CIRCUIT (DRIVER SIDE)  ). 
  5. Passenger side: INSPECT DUCT SENSOR CIRCUIT (See  DTC B1416/16: AIR DUCT SENSOR CIRCUIT (PASSENGER SIDE)  .) 
  6. INSTALL SENSOR 
  7. Driver side: INSTALL COMBINATION METER 
  8. Passenger side: INSTALL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY
