- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
- DRAIN COOLANT
- Remove the transaxle-side reserve tank cap.NOTE: Do not remove the reserve tank cap when the engine is hot.
- Remove the plug shown in the illustration and drain the coolant.
- Install the plug using a new gasket.
- Torque: 39 N.m (400 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf)
- Remove the transaxle-side reserve tank cap.
- ADD COOLANT
- Loosen the bleeder plug shown in the illustration and connect a hose.NOTE: Insert one end of the hose into the bleeder tank.
- Add coolant from the bleeder tank.NOTE: Add genuine Toyota Super LLC coolant.
- Loosen the bleeder plug shown in the illustration and connect a hose.
