Air Outlet Servomotor: Inspection

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection

  1. REMOVE THESE PARTS: 
    1. Cowl side trim RH
    2. Front door scuff plate RH
    3. No.2 under cover
    4. Lower No.2 panel
  2. REMOVE AIR OUTLET SERVOMOTOR 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and air duct.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and servomotor.

  3. INSPECT AIR OUTLET SERVOMOTOR OPERATION (See ) 
  4. INSPECT AIR OUTLET DAMPER POSITION SENSOR (See ) 
  5. INSTALL AIR OUTLET SERVOMOTOR 
  6. INSTALL AIR DUCT 
  7. INSTALL THESE PARTS: 
    1. Lower No.2 panel
    2. No.2 under cover
    3. Front door scuff plate RH
    4. Cowl side trim RH
