  1. Check harness and connector between transponder key ECU and transponder key amplifier (See Β HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDUREΒ  ).Β 
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector.Β 
    2. OK : Go to next step.Β 
  2. Check operation of transponder key amplifier.Β 

    CHECK:Β 

    After replacing the transponder key ECU, check that the engine starts.

    RESULT:Β

    Engine does not start NG
    1. NG : Normal (transponder key amplifier defective)Β
