Section 469 (Front Wiper System & Washer System): Removal

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Removal

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart. (See SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS )

  1. REMOVE WIPER ARM HEAD CAPS AND FRONT WIPER ARMS 
  2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER AND HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL 
  3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector, then unfasten the 3 bolts.
    2. Remove the wiper motor and link assembly.
