NOTE:
Do not disassemble the shift lever assembly.
- Remove steering wheel pad.
See step 1 of REMOVAL .
- Remove steering wheel.
See step 2 REMOVAL .
- Remove INSTRUMENT LOWER FINISH PANEL .
- Remove column lower and upper panels. See step 4 of REMOVAL .
- Remove combination switch. See step 5 of REMOVAL .
- Remove shift lever assembly:
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Disconnect the shift lever connector.
- Disconnect the shift lever assembly and transmission control cable. See step 8 of REMOVAL .
- Remove the shift lever assembly.
