2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the power window master switch circuit using DTC check  . See DTC B1221/21: POWER WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT ON .
    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table  . See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. Check the power window master switch.  See (4) - INSPECT POWER WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT .
    1. NG: Replace the power window master switch. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between power window master switch and body ECU. 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 

    Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table.  See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
