- 5VZ-FE engine:
Remove the air cleaner assembly. See step Β 1 under POWER STEERING VANE PUMP (5VZ-FE) REMOVAL.
- 2UZ-FE engine:
Remove the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner hose. See step Β 1 under POWER STEERING VANE PUMP REMOVAL (2UZ-FE).
- Disconnect the pressure feed tube from the PS vane pump.
CAUTION:
Check that the valve of the SST is in the open position.
