- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least 90 seconds. Access air bag center sensor and disconnect harness connectors. See AIR BAG CENTER SENSORΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Remove driver-side air bag module. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Access passenger-side air bag module and disconnect harness connectors. See PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect right and left side air bag module connectors, located under front seats.
- Access right and left curtain air bag modules and disconnect harness connectors. See CURTAIN AIR BAG MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Access right and left seat belt pretensioners and disconnect harness connectors. See SEAT BELT PRETENSIONERΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
