Data List
By accessing data list displayed by Toyota hand-held tester, reading values of switches and sensor without removing any parts is possible. Reading data list can shorten time needed to diagnose air bag system malfunctions.
To access data list, connect Toyota hand-held tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position. Follow prompts on tester screen and read data list. Compare values with those listed in table. Refer to IDENTIFYING AIR BAG SYSTEM DATA LIST VALUESΒ or IDENTIFYING OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DATA LIST VALUESΒ tables.
