Data List
By accessing the data list displayed by the Toyota hand-held tester, reading values of switches and sensor without removing any parts is possible. Reading the data list can shorten the time needed to diagnose air bag system malfunctions.
To access data list, connect Toyota hand-held tester to Data Link Connector 3 (DLC 3), located under left side of instrument panel. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Follow prompts on tester screen and read data list. Compare values with those listed in table. See IDENTIFYING AIR BAG SYSTEM DATA LIST VALUES or IDENTIFYING OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DATA LIST VALUES .

When to See a Mechanic
