Turning On The System
To operate the cruise control, press the "CRUISE ON-OFF " button. See Figure. This turns the system on. The indicator light in the instrument panel shows that you can now set the vehicle at a desired cruising speed. See Figure. Another press will turn the system completely off.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
