Circuit Description
ECM controls idle speed based in part on input signal received from power steering pressure sensor. DTC P0550 sets if power steering pressure sensor signal is less than .28 volt or more than 4.9 volts for .5 second or more. Possible causes are:
- Open in power steering pressure sensor circuit.
- Faulty power steering pressure sensor.
- Faulty ECM.
