If no hard diagnostic trouble codes are found in self-diagnostics, proceed to TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article for diagnosis by symptom (i.e., ROUGH IDLE, NO START, etc.) or intermittent diagnostic procedures.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
