(1) Check fuel pressure with engine off. Using scan tool connected to DLC3 under driver's side of dashboard, turn ignition on to activate fuel pump. If scan tool is not available, connect battery voltage to terminal No. 4, and ground terminal No. 5 on electric fuel pump. See Fig 1.

(1) Measure resistance between fuel pump terminals No. 4 and 5. See Fig 1.
