- Remove brake caliper from vehicle. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPERΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using a screwdriver, remove set rings and caliper boots from caliper piston.WARNING: Do not place your fingers in front of piston when using compressed air.
- Put a piece of cloth or equivalent between piston and caliper. Use compressed air to push pistons from caliper bore into cloth. Using a screwdriver, Remove piston seals from caliper. Remove sliding pins from torque plate. Using a screwdriver and hammer, tap out dust boots.
