Park/Neutral Position Switch: Removal

- Remove front exhaust pipe using the following steps:
- Disconnect 2 heated oxygen sensors.
- Remove 4 bolts, nuts and 2 gaskets from left and right TWC.
- Remove 2 bolts and support bracket.
- Remove 4 bolts and center floor crossmember brace.
- Remove front exhaust pipe. See Figure.
- Remove 4 bolts and heat insulator.
- Disconnect PNP switch connector.
- Remove PNP switch using the following steps:
- Remove nut and shift lever.
- Use screwdriver to pry off lock washer and remove nut.
- Remove bolt and pull out PNP switch. See Figure.
