Power Window Motor

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Power Window Motor

  1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, and check that the motor turns clockwise. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ .
  2. Reverse the polarity and check that the motor turns counterclockwise.
  3. If operation is not as specified, replace the motor. See POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (FRONT)Β  or POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (REAR)Β  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
