- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 and the motor body, check that the motor operates. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ . Disconnect the negative (-) lead from terminal 1, check that the motor stops running at the stop position. If operation is not as specified, replace the motor. See WIPER MOTOR (REAR)Β under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Intermittent
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2 and the motor body, check that the motor operates intermittently for 9-15 seconds. If the operation is not as specified, replace the motor. See WIPER MOTOR (REAR)Β under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
