Turn Signal Switch

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Turn Signal Switch

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect 17-pin electrical harness connector from light control switch at bottom of upper steering column bracket. Note light control switch positions and electrical terminals. See Figure.
  2. Using a DVOM, check continuity between specified terminals of light control switch with turn signal switch in each specified position. See TURN SIGNAL SWITCH CONTINUITYΒ  table. See Figure. Replace light control switch if defective. See LIGHT CONTROL SWITCHΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
