Wheel Speed Sensor (Rear): Removal

- Remove rear wheel and wheel house liner.
- Pull the front portion of the rear seat cushion up and remove it. On vehicles with seat heater, disconnect the connector.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat belts from the belt guides.
- Remove the headrests.
- Remove the 4 bolts and 3 nuts and then raise the seatback assembly upward to remove the seatback assembly. On vehicles with seat heater, disconnect the connector.
- Disconnect the speed sensor connector and pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet. See Fig 1.
- On the left wheel, remove the 2 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness from the toe control link and body. On the right wheel, disconnect the pad wear indicator connector assembly from the speed sensor.
- Remove the installation bolt and speed sensor from the axle carrier. See Fig 2.
