Brake Actuator Assembly: Installation
2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Install the 3 cushions and 2 holders to the brake actuator. Install the brake actuator to the bracket with the 2 nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the bolt, 2 nuts and brake actuator assembly. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the 2 connectors and brake hose to the brake actuator.
- Using special tool (09751-36011), connect the 6 brake lines to the actuator and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the front fender liner, splash shield and outside molding.
- Install engine room No. 3 R/B and engine room side cover.
- Fill reservoir with brake fluid and bleed system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
- Check for leaks.
