Input Signal Check

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Input Signal Check

NOTE:
  • For Check No. 1-3 -Β  Turn the ignition switch ON.
  • For Check No. 4 -Β  Jack up the vehicle, start the engine and shift to "D" position.
  1. Pull the control switch to SET/COAST or RES/ACC position and hold it down or up. See Figure
  2. Push the main switch ON.
  3. Check that the CRUISE MAIN indicator light blinks twice or 3 times repeatedly after 3 seconds.
  4. Turn the SET/COAST or RES/ACC switch OFF.
  5. Operate each switch as listed in the table. See Fig 1.
  6. Read the blinking pattern of the CRUISE MAIN indicator light.
  7. NOTE: When 2 or more signals are input to the ECU, the lowest number code will be displayed 1st.
  8. After performing the check, turn the main switch OFF.
