Rear Wiper Motor: Installation
2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Installation

- Install the rear wiper motor. Install the packing to the motor. Install the rear wiper motor and tighten the 3 bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ table. Connect the connector. Install the washer and nut on the outer side of the back door panel. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ table.
- Install the rear wiper arms and tighten the nut by hand. Operate the wipers once and turn the wiper switch OFF. Adjust the rear wiper arms. See REAR WIPER ARMS under ADJUSTMENTSΒ . Install the rear wiper arm with the nut. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ table.
- Install the back door trim board to the back door panel.
- Install the upper back door trim to the back door panel.
