Front Wiper Motor & Linkage Assembly: Removal

- Remove the wiper arms. Remove the nut and LH wiper arm. Remove 2 nuts and the RH wiper arm. See Fig 1.
- Remove the cowl louvers. Remove the weatherstrip from the cowl louvers. Remove the clips, then pull the cowl louvers forward.
- Remove the wiper link assembly by disconnecting the connector and removing 5 bolts.
- Remove the wiper motor. Remove the nut. Place matchmarks on the wiper link and motor. See Fig 2. Remove the 3 bolts and motor from the wiper link.
- Remove the washer nozzles. Disconnect the washer hoses. Using a screwdriver, remove the washer nozzles from the hood.
NOTE:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
