2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Engine Coolant Temperature Sending Unit

Connect wiring harness as shown in Fig 1. Adjust ammeter pointer to zero using slide rheostat, then read rheostat indicator. Compare resistance value to specifications. See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCEΒ  table.
