Turn Signal Flasher

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Turn Signal Flasher

  1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminals 1 and 4, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 7. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ .
  2. Connect 2 turn signal bulbs to terminal 2 and 3 each and connect the other side of them to the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Check that the LH bulbs flush when terminal 5 is connected to the negative (-) battery terminal.
  4. Check that the RH bulbs flush when terminal 6 is connected to the negative (-) battery terminal.
  5. Disconnect terminal 1 from the positive (+) battery terminal.
  6. Check that the LH and RH bulbs flush when terminal 8 is connected to the negative (-) battery terminal.
