Luggage Compartment Main Switch

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Luggage Compartment Main Switch

Luggage compartment main switch is incorporated into heating and ventilation register on left side of instrument panel. Turn ignition off and remove luggage compartment main switch. See LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAIN SWITCHΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect 2-pin electrical harness connector. Using a DVOM, measure continuity across switch terminals. With switch in OFF position, continuity should not exist. With switch in ON position, continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
