Brake Actuator Assembly: Installation
2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Install 3 cushions and 2 cushion bolts to brake actuator. Install brake actuator to bracket with 2 nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Install nut, 2 bolts and brake actuator assembly. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Connect brake hose and connector.
- Using special tool (09023-00100), connect 6 brake lines to actuator and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Fill reservoir with brake fluid and bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEMΒ .
- Check for brake fluid leakage.
