Wheel Speed Sensor (Front): Removal

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Removal

  1. Remove front wheel and front fender liner.
  2. Disconnect speed sensor harness connector. See Fig 1.
  3. Remove bolt, disconnect flexible hose and speed sensor harness clamp from shock absorber.
  4. Remove resin clip from shock absorber.
  5. Remove bolt and wheel speed sensor harness clamp from body.
  6. Remove bolt and speed sensor from steering knuckle. See Fig 2.
