Headlight Cleaner Relay

  1. Inspect the headlight cleaner relay operation.
  2. Check that no continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and No. 5. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ .
  3. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminals No. 1 and No. 5, and the negative (-) lead to terminal No. 3.
  4. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal No. 4, and check that continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and No. 5 for 0.9-1.1 seconds, then no continuity exists.
  5. If the operation is not as specified, replace the motor.
