Wheel Speed Sensor (Rear): Removal

- Remove rear wheel.
- Disconnect the connector from the wheel speed sensor. See Fig 1.
- Remove brake caliper assembly and disc. See DISC article.
- Remove the 4 bolts and rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- Mount the rear axle hub in a soft jaw vise. Using a pin punch and hammer, drive out the 2 pins and remove the 2 attachments from special tool (09520-00031). Using special tool (09520-00031), (09520-00040), (09521-00020) and (09950-00020) and 2 bolts (diameter: (12 mm), pitch: (1.5 mm), remove the speed sensor from the rear axle hub. See Fig 2.
