- Inspect the power window motor PTC operation.
- Disconnect the connector from the rear door ECU.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal No. 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal No. 1 on the wire harness side connector, and raise the window to full closed position. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ .
- Continue to apply voltage and check that there is a PTC operation noise within approximately 4-90 seconds.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the window begins to descend within approximately 60 seconds.
- If operation is not as specified, replace the motor. See REAR DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATORΒ under COMPONENT TESTS.
