- Inspect the continuity in the GAUGE 1 fuse and the ECU-ACC fuse. See Fig 1. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not OK, replace the fuse.
- Check the clock assembly:
- Check the voltage. Disconnect the connector from the clock assembly. Measure the voltage between each terminal of the clock assembly and the body ground at each condition. See CLOCK ASSEMBLY STANDARD VOLTAGEΒ table. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ . Check the continuity between terminal No. 2 of the clock assembly and body ground.CLOCK ASSEMBLY STANDARD VOLTAGE
Terminal Condition Voltage 1 To Body Ground Constant 10-14 4 To Body Ground Ignition Switch ACC 10-14 - If the continuity is OK, check and replace the clock assembly. See CLOCK ASSEMBLYΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If the continuity is not OK, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
- Check the voltage. Disconnect the connector from the clock assembly. Measure the voltage between each terminal of the clock assembly and the body ground at each condition. See CLOCK ASSEMBLY STANDARD VOLTAGEΒ table. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ . Check the continuity between terminal No. 2 of the clock assembly and body ground.
