Power Seat Switch: Removal
2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Removal

- Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- Remove the left hand outer front seat track bracket cover and the left hand inner front seat track bracket cover.
- Remove the right hand inner rear front seat track cover and the left hand outer rear front seat track cover.
- Set the front vertical adjustment in the most upper position. Remove the 4 bolts. Disconnect the connectors. Remove the left front seat assembly.
- Remove the front seat headrest assembly.
- Remove the reclining power seat switch knob.
- Remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
- Remove the 4 screws. See Fig 1. Disengage the claws. Remove the left hand front seat cushion shield.
- Remove the 2 screws. Remove the left hand front power seat switch assembly.
- Disconnect the connectors. Remove the front power seat switch.
