Position Control Ecu Assembly: Removal

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Removal

  1. Remove power seat switch. See POWER SEAT SWITCHΒ .
  2. Disconnect the connectors. Remove the left hand front seat inner belt assembly.
  3. Remove the 3 screws. See Fig 1. Disengage the claws. Remove the left hand inner front seat cushion shield.
  4. Remove the 2 screws. Remove the left hand inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield.
  5. Disconnect the clamps and connectors of each wiring harness. Remove the 4 bolts. Remove the front seat cushion assembly.
  6. Disconnect the connector. Remove the 2 bolts. Remove the position control ECU assembly.
